As Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, I understand how important awareness is - however it’s ACTION that will bring about change.
Here are 4 ways we can create change together:
1️⃣Language matters - let’s use words that help, not harm
2️⃣Let’s check in with each other - we need to create space for compassion and honest conversations
3️⃣Keep talking about it - avoidance can lead to shame and guilt about having negative thoughts and feelings
4️⃣Show you care - a little kindness and compassion goes a long way
